My name is Sue. And my name is Nancy. My name is Merritt. In this episode, we’re introducing you to our podcast team and why we’re bringing you our podcast.

Sue: For the past 40 years, I’ve been in a variety of caregiving roles for family members and loved ones. The beginning journeys were absolutely brutal. I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster often blindfolded. I’ve learned a lot and I’m committed to helping you learn faster and more easily than I did.

Nancy: And I get it, caring for someone with dementia is at times exhausting and overwhelming. Between my husband, my father -in -law, and my dad, I’ve been in family caregiving for over 25 years. I’ve been frustrated with how difficult it is to find practical tips and I want you to have what I couldn’t find.

Merritt: And Nancy is my mom, so I can remember her frustration. My dad was diagnosed when I was 21, so I’ve been on this caregiving journey with my family for the past nine years. In addition to bringing a child’s perspective, I’m also the podcast’s audio engineer and editor. I want to help my mom and Sue’s message be as clear and impactful for you as possible.
